Soliman-Ornelas battle Friday!
Unbeaten heavies meet on undercard...

“Rivalries” – one friendly; one bitter – will be the prevailing theme this coming Friday night when Goossen Tutor Promotions presents a world class boxing event at the Soboba Casino in San Jacinto, California.

In the main event of Showtime’s “ShoBox: The New Generation” broadcast – Australian Sam “King” Soliman and Mexican Enrique Ornelas -- will be pitted against each other in a scheduled ten-round middleweight bout. Adding spice to this rivalry of prominence will be the presence of former world bantamweight champion Wayne McCullough, who is the trainer for Ornelas.

Thanks for the read, I saw Ornelas fight at the Olympic grand along side his bro. Librado Andrade....

Ornelas was fighting Cristian Cruz, Ornelas was ahead in the fight he had dropped Cruz 3 times and was giving Cruz a lesson, when suddenly BAM!!! right hand cross just droped Ornelas flat out he tried to get up and by 8 he was up only to woble his legs and show he was unstable... Ref. waived off the fight....

Overall hes a good fighter, good skill and young he has a pretty solid record IMO hes fought good compeition throughout his career and Soliman will be a BIG test for him.

I see Soliman by Dec. or late TKO....

Soliman brought pressure and threw more punches landed some solid ones. Accidental head butt Ornelas gets cut in the left eyebrow.
Soliman was wining the rd. untill Ornelas landed a huge right and dropped Soliman.....

Soliman landed solid punches and hurt Ornelas, Ornelas kept throwing back but Solimans punches landed cleaner and brough the pressure onto Ornelas...

Tough round to score, Soliman was busier and Ornelas landed the harder/solid punches....

Soliman really making a comeback, landing hard punches in this round and tatooing Ornelas. Ornelas landed a few right hands in the begining of the rd. But Soliman came back.

Ornelas seems to be tiring and is carying his hands low, his punches are loosing the sting and hes throwing less and less.

Soliman has officially in my books turned this puppy around, it's turning out to be a REALLY good fight..

Soliman is throwing combos and just tatooing Ornelas with punches, huge upper cuts and hooks are turning this fight around for Soliman....

Soliman is up and is throwi ng combos again and again, Ornelas looks tired by now all hes doing is complaning to the ref.
Looks like SOliman still has a few tricks up his sleeve.

What a rd. both fighter landed BIG punches SOliman threw more combos and landed solid, Ornelas had some BIG punches but didn't follow them up....
Looking at this closely I think I think the cut REALLy played a factor here cause Ornelas doesn't stop rubbing it and is complaining about the slightest things...
