Easy...I felt that one. Heh heh heh.
Come on Wack! Dont tell me your that "drunk fool"! Ill have to dedicate my life to giving you SCs. Anyway, if Joe dosent fight Kessler in the year 2007 I will lose all respect for him. He dominated Lacy ,who I "KNEW" was going to blast Joe back to the stone age. I was wrong. So now we have Kessler. Hes got the other belts. Who really is better? Not one of us knows. Until they fight it is only speculation. If things happen the way I see them:Joe vs Kess never happens. Joe never fights "Mr.big name American". He leaves boxing with either a loss or the Kess ? mark. And then Kessler becomes a big name and gets those big money HBO,SHO,PPV fights Joe wanted. I honestly see Kessler comming out ahead when all is said and done (unless Joe fights and beats him).
Why is it automatically assumed by you that it is Calzaghe trying to avoid Kessler, as far as I can see Team Palle have thrown this smokescreen of a $3.4million offer to fight in Denmark in one of the most partisan arenas in the world, where the home fans, who are pretty damn good from what we saw against Markus Beyer, and risk it all where the scorecards might be very dubious in their honesty. As far as I'm concerned that was a feint by them to suggest they wouldn't go outside of Denmark, and for me, Calzaghe shouldn't be going in there, after all, the two-year champion Kessler was practiacally still in diapers when Calzaghe became champ, and he's still here. If it can be made elsewhere, then I hope we see Calzaghe v Kessler, but not in Denmark, it just doesn't make sense to take that silly risk. There's also his promoter's agenda of trying to crack the states, so a Kessler fight might be further down the line in his mind too.
Fail to see why Denmark is more partisan than Wales/UK or anywhere else. You get crap decissions everywhere. But it would be no more likely for Calzaghe in Denmark than for Kessler in the UK.
Also if Calzaghe/Warren are unhappy about fighting in Denmark or unhappy about the money or whatever, they could have made an offer for a fight in the UK. But the real issue is they've made no such offer - despite being repeatedly asked for one (by Team Palle). Simple fact is that Fwank and Joe at this time does not want to persue a Kessler-fight. That's why they're accused of running.

Relating to other posts - as for Calzaghe having fought "everyone" i think that is far from the truth. He's fought a small number of very good opposition. But just from a danish perspective, a guy like Mads Larsen would have been a clear step up in competition compared to at least two thirds of Calzaghe's opponents as a champ. Larsen offered to fight repeatedly - but was constantly ignored. From a broader perspective there's a number of opponents who'd been more worthy than Joe's chosen opponents - but who were ignored as they didnt fit into Fwank and Joe's schemes.

Despite Joe's nine year WBO reign and his obvious skills, he has yet to prove himself. And it's his own (and Fwank's) bloody fault.
