He did however, make the best of the time he had at the top...if he does return I think he can achieve greatness. To do this he'll need to win a title or two and defend it some more. If Vitali has 5-8 more fights and does as he normally does win by KO then YES he's most definently an all-time great (providing he fights and beats the right people)

Really some other heavyweights will need to prove themselves to help Vitali out in his goal of being great. A rematch with Lennox Lewis really wouldn't do much for me right now but if he was able to avenge the loss that's good and fighting Chris Byrd and avenging that loss would also be good, it would put him in the company of Riddick Bowe.
