Agreed....Nigel Benn had to Cheat and literally almost have to beat Gerald to death....So Joe dosent have close to the power to keep Gerald at bay, Gerald can Box as well as Knock your azz out...Joe would lose within the 1st 3 rounds by brutal KO.....

he didnt cheat jt he done few illegal blows here and there but didnt cheat he won fair and square and on that night he was awesome

Rabbit punching and hitting in the back is illegal......Nigel repeatedly fouled Gerald every chance he could Nigel knew what he was doing and the ref let him get away with it....Nigel got the benefit of Home cookin plain and simple!!!!!

not all the time i think he should of had maybe 1 point taken away but he still would of won anyway benn was just not going down that night he was awesome that night only way u would of beat benn that night if he would of killed them it was brutal fight one of them was going have serious injury and it was gerald sad what happened but on that night benn was excellent in my opinion

Whatever......He was Tko'd in the 1st round plain and simple any other place the fight would of been called off but home cooking saved Nigel Benn...Just as it ruined his career too...

It was well documented that Nigel was allowed to get away with repeated fouls, not to mentioned when Nigel climbed in the ring again after the Knock Down the ref kept holding Gerald back so Nigel would get his Wits back..It was so obvious that the announcers were yelling "Whats The Ref Doing"?

That's the thing Ice, if it wasn't for the ref Benn would of never made it out of the first round.  I agree with JT all the way on this.
