I think this is the footage you need. Wait 'til 3:04. It gets good. And keep watching for the slowmo..

Von to me its not very good. I wouldnt say his technique on the bag shows bad uboxing style. Although its only a press call and photo shoot. On the pads no technique, what hes doing is a sort of plyometric routine for speed, but there are better ways of doing it. The best skiping routine I ever saw was Duran He skipped without leaving the floor toe and heel I was impressed

whilst he was skipping i must say i was fairly impressed, the rest of the clip to me though wasn't very impressive.
Guys, the point of the vid was to show Josh how to work a speed bag, even though it's not much practical use. I think he was asking a little while ago how you work it fast. Like I said before though, the only time I work the speed bag is when there's a chick in our gym. For some reason people are just impressed by it.
PS - I hate that pitter patter shit on the mitts too. We have a black trainer at our gym who's answer to why he does that with guys is "ta educate yo' hands."
Scrap, find me Duran on the rope or no more cc's for you til 2007. Rope work is by far the most impressive thing a boxwer can do, IMO.
Von Ive got it but dont know where, I used to have thousends of them lent them and never got them back Im sure Ive got a dvd of one of mine doing what Floyds doing on a 8" pipe skipping and balancing at the same time, really good for awareness. About the pads thing I think it gives bad technique, but people see Flyod doing it and think that must be good. Yet when he punches he misses a lot and punches gloves so the other guy cant get a rythem its a systemthat works unless youve got a good counter puncher in front of you hes mastered it probably from the cott
