He has tremendous power, now he needs to gain more experience. Going twelve with was a definite step in the right direction. Time will tell.
TOO TRUE!!!

I tried being a fan of Sam Peter's...I tried to look for the silver lining but it just isn't there! His power does not make up for his lack of boxing ability. His defense is horrid, his jab is that of a 4 year old, his hooks are as wide as his love handles, and right cross He still hasn't heard of it!

If Peter got a good trainer and dedicated himself to being more than just power and set up some of his haymakers then I'd see him as the future of the division but right now I really find it hard to see anyone in the top 10 that he would beat "EASILY".
That pretty much sums it up...

not to mention that he gets frustrated easily and resorts to rabbit punching. This guy is a puncher...not a boxer. He has more problems than assets in my book.

It seems as if 80% of the folks on the forum are holding on to some sort of hope that this guy is going to wake up one day and conquer the division...but based on what he has showed everyone, I really don't understand the fascination with this guy.

He will always be a punchers chance away from winning a fight, and he will always be one fight away from recieving a boxing lesson.
