    Default Brewster-Liakhovich...why so little talk?

Everyone seems most concerned with who Joe Calzaghe will dodge next, and how bad the Judah/Mayweather fight will be.

How about this fight happening Saturday night? Has anyone seen Liakhovich fight? Does he pose a threat to Lamon?

From what I hear, he's a better boxer than Kali Meehan, and I thought Meehan won that fight with Brewster.

If Brewster comes out aggressive he wins. If he doesn't, he losses a decision.

That's the common thought of it.

I think I may drive a couple of miles for the weekend and see that fight, since I know of no one here that has showtime where I live.

I think Brewster's underrated by some people, although I did think he lost to Meehan, but he's beaten better guys since, if he's active in the ring he's fairly tough to beat

But he looks soft, he's 7 or 8 pounds heavier than he usually comes in at and Sergei's not bad. I'm favoring Brewster but it could be interesting

Usually Brewster is in good fights. At least these days, not the days of Shufford and Ettiene. I thought the Meehan fight was entertaining. That's why I wouldn't mind taking a trip to see the Brewster fight.

I'm excited to watch the fight. With the way the heavyweight division is right now, there needs to be someone consistant. Brewster has had his share of ugliness, and inconsistantcy too. But he's been on fire lately, and poses a threat to the top guys. I can't say I like Brewster better than the rest of the Heavies, but if he keeps winning, I think he is good for the division. If he was to beat Liakhovich, he will get a little more credit, and maybe get a shot at Valuev, or a rematch with Vlad, or a fight with Byrd{depending on who wins}.

Liakhovich has some pedigree, but I think brewster will systematically tear him up for a late stoppage, should be one of the better heavyweight fights though.

I just want to have some hope still, that there will be an undisputed heavyweight champ. It probably won't be Brewster, but you have to root for someone, and all the other heavies have let me down.

there is little hype because of judah-mayweather, byrd-wladmir, fretias-raheem, and ODH-mayorga
