Thats damn near the best p4p list ive seen (well most accurate).

The top three pick themselves anyway. Winky definitely deserves his place, ive watched a lot of his fights recently and that guy has got the best defence ive ever seen (yes better than PBF). His forearms are huge and cover his whole torso meaning he leaves a very small target area. He's also a very clever boxer with his counter punching and clever feints. Im a massive winky fan even though im a Brit.

anyways id also like to make honourable mentions for de la hoya, Chris John and miguel cotto who i think will be in that list in the next year or so.

I'd think that winning the lineal WW championship 12-0, despite being a natural 130-pounder, would make him an obvious #1. I don't think Ricky Hatton belongs in the top 10--certainly not above the man who will soon take his "0", JLC. Now that Hopkins has made his non-retirement official, I think he has to be on there too.

    I see it this way:

    1. PBF
    2. Winky
    3. Pac
    4. Taylor
    5. Hopkins
    6. MAB
    7. R. Marquez
    8. JM Marquez
    9. Castillo
    10. Calzaghe

No reverse gear on the Pacman and he is pure entertainment.
    Good points.

That being said...Pac's got as many question marks on his record as Floyd does...but Floyd doesn't have the losses.

Floyd is riding on 37 wins with 24 ko's & the rest are performances of which he humiliated everyone that he faced outside of the first Castillo fight.

Pacquiao's record boats 48 fights with 34 ko's, 3 losses, & 2 draws. Nearing the latter part of Pac's career he has faced 3 of the greatest Mexi's of our decade & he's disposed of 2 of them by knockout. The other, Marquez, withstood his full speed ahead gear & over came it to outbox him to a draw. Then there's Larios & Lucero...but not many rate them...& that's just wrong.

Also...now...some fans are giving Pac the Mayweather treatment & disguarding the destruction of Morales based on the fact that he like many of Floyd's opponents were chosen at the right time as fall guys.

Amazing that we as fans can be so disrespectful of our champs...but wer'e all guilty of it...so we can't go throwin stones.

    Pac's record is great from 2003 & up...but it's marred by the 3 losses.

Floyd's record is great from 1999 to 2004...but from the skeptical fan...it's downhill after that...I don't agree with that. Gatti, Mitchell, Judah, & Baldomir all had skills...there were just flaws.

No shame in either game...but Floyd, hate his attitude or not, is still the master boxer...Pac is just an unstoppable brute force.

In Wacko's opinion...this is all about boxing...pound for pound...Floyd is superior...but this aint Wacko's list nor is it his forum...so it's all up to you...the people.

    This is your list.
Floyd doesnt take enough chances to warrant the top spot. Winky or Pac should be there because they truly have beaten top competition the last few years.

that is quite a feat and it is well worth the no 3 spot.... but for me great fighters are made from winning other greats.

Pac has beaten atlease 3 p4pounders and 2 of whom are of Legend quality where as Mayweathers biggest win would was against Castillo

granted mayweather has looked great in alot of fights but quality of the opponent knocks him off the top spot for me

think when/if Hatton beats the best guy Mayweather has faced we should re access his position depending on how he wins

but for me Manny Pac deserves the no1 spot untill we see how Mayweather does against Oscar

I have thought that myself Castillo will be a good measuring stick when he is fighting at a comfortable weight. Mainly because he fights with a level of consistency something you don't find in the likes of Judah.

Thank you sir for your concurment on my opinion. In addition,PACQUIAO showed how a real pound for pound fighter is really like.He fought like a true champion. He got hit with solid punches in the most vulnerable area but he withstood the challenged by Morales instea he fought toe to toe and never stepped bsck until he ko'd el Terrible.

I wonder if PBF tasted the solid punches of Baldomir, what would happen?Well, indeed its very hard to hit PBF with a solid punch. He is slippery as eel.

Just the same ,i want to see Pacquiao on top of the list.
Nonito Donaire will soon be a name to reckon with...

    Before i had it :
    1.PBF
    2.Winky
    3.Pacman

But after Pacmans HUGELY impressive victory over Morales without doubt he has leaped Winky IMO.

    So that makes it:
    1.PBF
    2.Pacman
    3.Winky.

So you would bump Mayweather because he just defeated a man that hasn't been beaten in 19 fights & you would bump Pacquiao because he knocked out the same man that he did in his last fight?

    Interesting.

so what you are saying is beating a legend like Morales in the manner Pac did over 3 round is not as good as beating a one dimentional guy with a million losses over 12 rounds whos only valid warrent was being bigger ?

    Also Intresting

that would be a far better achivement if he had done it without skipping the best in each division on the way up and it looks like hes skipping them again to move up to fight DLH which he will lose

but im not saying take him out of the P4P im just saying he dosnt deserve the no1 spot at this point in time.

    hope this helps

As far as acheivements go...Floyd's done just fine & a bit better with the champions that he has utterly humiliated & decimated on the way up...which is a lot more than I can say for most on the move...& some that stay even stagnant in their respective divisions.

The names need not be mentioned...but everyone knows them...they just try to forget.

As far as Oscar...again...I promised the forum that I would not comment on that...but let me say this...it appears that already...reading various posts around the forum that Floyd has no chance...that being said...what excuses would people make for Oscar to downgrade Floyd if he were to win?

    Quote Originally Posted by Saddo

Totally disagree. He's not lost. He just bested Baldomir who had not lost in 19 fights & who knows how he would have faired against others if Floyd had not come along. What if Baldo were to get a shot at Margarito & beat him...or draw with him?

Would that make Floyd's win even more satisfying?

Facts are facts. Pacquiao has lost before...3 times...& badly I might add.

Yes he beat Barrera, yes he beat Morales & KO'd him, but as a fan of Morales...even with all his begging & believeing in me one more time...when your'e done folks...your done...& Morales was as done as fwockin fried chicken.

People throw up Morales, Barrera, & Marquez like mad when pleading their cause for Pacquiao but they then throw out all of the wins & names on Floyd's record...& that's just bullshitish to me.

If everyone votes that Floyd be dropped from the #1 spot...then I will more than gladly change the listing...but in all actuallity & this is just my opinion...Flavor of the Month don't equate to P4P.
