But Butler performed piss poor that night against a guy in Grant whom he should of beat. But he wasn't firing off punches whenever he had any openings and he really just fought lacking any desire. I mean it was disappointing in a Rolando Reyes kind of way so for him to do that at the end...it's bizarre. I mean usually boxers are down on themselves when that happens but he's a whole nother type of animal.
He got 29 years for the Kellerman murder.
It was probably Grant's biggest win up to that point. Heavy underdog going in, all the talk was about Butler and that fight got Grant a title shot. I think he faced Echols or someone like that (maybe it was Montel Griffin) and has been fighting prospects ever since.
