Now all the Pac fans will say that Pac has improved ALOT, he is too fast, strong, etc. But i still see a boxer who is far from being a complete fighter. He still has balance issues when he punches wild, can't fight going backwards, and he still will get hit alot with his style. If some of you want to fool yourself into thinking that he is unbeatable and can even fight/defeat strong punchers out of his weight division...that's fine. Just make sure you don't jump off the bandwagon if he loses against a game opponent. I say all this with no ill will towards Manny. He is an exciting fighter. I just can't stand blind and ridiculous building up of a fighter.
When Morales beat Pac the first time nobody ever heard him being worn out, then when he gets beat by Raheem "some" thought it might be wear/tear others think it's just a matter of style why Erik got beat by Raheem. When PAC TKO'd him it's a confirmation that he is indeed worn out.
MY TAKE: LAME EXCUSE for getting KTFO.
PAC is a great fighter IMO because for a Superfeatherweight he is not big like Morales but he still beats them and beats them by stoppage.
Larios in fact is taller than PAC and is about the same frame so I don't think it's a mismatch. On JMM a judge already admitted his mistake on the scoring, so technically PAC shouldve won the fight.
Name a fighter out there other than PAC who have scored knockout wins over both Barrera and Morales(2x) and is actually smaller than them.
The fact remains that even if PAC cleans the 130 lb division knocking out Guzman, Valero, MAB & JMM within the next 2 years some people will never consider him "that" good. I remember an article by this guy in EastsideBoxing I think saying that PAC should move up to 135 to fight Chico and JL Castillo, what a desperate move to see PAC lose he knows and the world knows that at 130 lbs. PAC is the man to beat. It will take a BIG superfeather to stop PAC IMO somebody that shouldve been fighting as a lightweight/or welterweight.
Oh by the way I agree with you PAC still lacks alot of stuff but the funny thing is inspite those weanesses he still STEAMROLLS over the competition
