Fair play, he is slow compared to PBF and Joe C. but at least he has the balls to call out the so called 'champ' out walk up to him with camera on hand and say lets boogie..... Which is more then what PBF and Joe put together can say.....

Also don't forget Margarito would never dominate a Div. cause the so called champs won't give him a shot at the titles....
Really Mayweather called Castillo who was champ of the lightweight division when he moved up, and then he challenged one of the champions at 140 in Gatti, and then he challenged the unified Welterweight champion Baldomir... Calzaghe callenged Eubank, and has kept the title eve since.
Your right he did call out JLC and guess what he lost in their 1st match, ask anyone here except for 'Club Mickey Mouse' a.k.a. PBF - Fan Club......
And in the re-match PBF DID win THAT fight....
I also like how when he moved up to 147 he fought a legite Welter in Sharmba Mitchelle, when there was other REAL welters he could have fought.... Great way to plant your feet in the Welter div. fighting a natural 140 lber....

Gatti? You mean Gatti who had just been in one of the GREATEST trilogies and this trilogy took out what was left of him.... Gatti who lost twice to Robinson... and had just beaten an on his way out Leija? WOW!!! very impressive.....

Well yes he did challenge Baldomir, why wouldn't he... That fight was a sure victory for him plus it would signify him as the champ, since Baldomir had beaten Zab, cause Zab needed a warm up fight as I said...

And speaking of Zab, PBF then goes on to fight Zab for a crappy as IBF belt that the Federation decided to give PBF so he could go fetch them some money!!! by luring in PBF as the 'GREAT SHOWDOWN'

Where do I join 'Club Mickey Mouse?' I wan't in...

Well...personally I have no problem with Mayweathers choice of Gatti or Mitchell since

    1) Gatti was big bucks. Plain and simple.

    2) He didn't have to much of a layoff after the Mitchell fight so it really doesn't mean to much imo and he was just testing the 147 waters seeing how his body would hold up.

But I wouldn't say his competition is stellar by any means, but he's done enough to be called a true champ imo and I don't think Margarito is at the point yet where he could be any sort of black cloud over Mayweather's head. Now if he disposes of Clottey in impressive fashion, you can say who is Margarito or who is Clottey all you want, that would be impressive and probably warrant SOME sort of title shot.

Yea for sure, if MArgarito is impressive in victory tomorrow night, he certainly has alot more claim to the status he has already been given for whatever reason.
