At least these two have a personality, even though they can be flaky at times. The showtime anouncers are more dry than a two-year old saltine.
What about Russ Anber hes the best!
super knowledgable passionate and articulate!!!
I have a clip of Larry Merchant being interviewed by Vlad for Ukrainian TV.

now....where is that.......

oh ya...
here it is....

He does say stupid things at times...but the one who never fails to irritate is that Harold Ledderman. That guy was at the end of the line when God was handing out singing voices. Him and Edith Bunker should form a duo and travel the country.

Lampley tends to get a little excited and dramatic as well. I remember the Ibeabuchi Byrd fight when Ike was pounding Byrd against the ropes and Lampley was yelling "make it stop....make it stop!" pure comedy. He should have won an award for that one.

Yes larry's one funky old antique,
but I liked him ever since he put Lennox on the spot after the fight with Vitali. That old man has the balls to ask questions that other interviewers wouldn't. Yes he's a little frightening in a leathery kind of way, but his personality is miles ahead of Bernstiens.

I think he's gambling on the "You wouldn't hit an old man now would you?" thing and that's why he gets away with asking those questions.
