Can we not overrate Cotto please?

you had to see this coming miles away because i know i did

margarito sucks, and he showed it last night. so now all of the margaritites are jumping ship over to cotto's bandwagon because cotto looked very impressive against carlos quintana (a good fighter, but nowhere near pbf)

If you think that turning a fight around after loosing rds. 2,3 & 4 back to back and then changing gears is sucking then wow!! Margarito was getting hit, and so was Clottey, Clottey landed the cleaner punches in those 3 rds. but Margarito fought back and kept busy all the time he throws a lot of punches.

It took him a while to warm up and get going, but in the end he won the fight. He has no one to blame but himself for the inactivity he took a gamble and Pretty Girl Floyd found a way to go around him..... Zab well same thing....

PBF & ZAB.... Come don't you remember that memorable bout what a MEGA showdown that was.....

But thats that, Margarito won I HOPE HE FIGHTS WILLIAMS NEXT and both mem are prepared well. Wiht NO excuses for eother fighter..... And we will be in for a real treat. Regardless of who wins. IMO, Margarito beats Williams his chinny and has been hurt by both Mathysse & Sharmba....

Interesting point of view. Tony seems a bit slow to beat Williams IMO , Margarito does keep the punches coming , nice work rate. but he is slow for 147,

Clottey made a mental mistake by basically quitting when he hurt his hand.. I have had many a hand injuries and it sucks, but you got to will your way threw shit and keep the punches flowing. it's seem the injury was prior to the fight during training , Joshua should have Novocained that bad boy before he wrapped up , so its own damn fault he lost the fight, a fight he was schooling Margarito.

I was sitting there at the time with my mouth wide open , thinking, to myself what the fuck is Clottey Throwing the fight ? Round 5 he just stopped throwing punches. . .

I mean I get it Margarito did look VERY rusty and lost those rds. I keep seeing people say Clottey won rd.1 WHAT!! are they insane....

Spot on, Clottey said he injured his hand about 2 weeks ago and he felt that he couldn't cancel the fight. That it was his duty to show up regadless and fight thats what he does...(So he said) and that he didn't wan't to call the bout off....

Like El Gamo said, the same thing could be said for Margarito about his hand being hurt..... But we are not using that, we realise Margarito was slow and lost those rds. but other then that Margarito won the other rds. I think he lost the 8th rd or something. thats still just 4 rds. for Clottey....

At I actually thought the ref. was gonna jump in there at one point it seemed like he was ready to jump in that 5th rd. asault.... But it when on and now the fights done....

Lets hope that Margarito vs. Williams pulls through and we'll be good...
