If he was to fight I would guess that Stietglitz cat, who was Joe C's mandatory before he vacated. I don't know much about that guy except he has been sidestepped a lot. And honestly from Kessler's perspective if he can't fight Joe, who is considered the man in the division, he would benefit more from being a 3 Alphabet champ then fighting like say, Froch who would be a huge risk with very little chance of reward.

No doubt he would benefit but he would get caught up in unnessaciarry mandatories and that would result in him wanting to keep his title rather than hunting the JC he should imo go for him now! sod the titles bring on JC! True dat, CC bro. Of course Kessler would get caught up in the mandatories, but honestly unless he gets a fight with Joe, what else is he going to do? Sooner or later when you have 3 title one of your mandatories will be a super fight, be it Lucian Bute, Carl Froch or Anthony Mundine.
