Absolutely! I'm sick of these retreads. First Golota, Briggs, and now Sanders.

I guess seeing Briggs, a lumbering stiff with asthma, win a title has him thinking. I think Corrie should stay on the links. He never was that good. In his prime he got stopped by Rahman for cryin out loud.

Is this division ever going to get better.
I completely disagree. Picking out Sanders rare losses, Rahman, Vitaly (+ a fluke) is so unfair. Give that Sanders knocked down Rahman and psuhed down and hit Vitaly. In no fight did he go down; he was standing with his hands up, not throwing back enough and the fight was stopped. So the Rahman fight was his to win, and he stood up to Vitaly, and beat Wlad; ARE YOU NUTS? If he wasnt that good, why didnt Vitaly knock him out?
Totally unfair. I would say that Sanders is one of the greatest the last 10 years; Vitaly, Sanders, Lewis, its just that things never came together right. He almost KO Rahman, and Vitaly in early rounds; he could have won both, it was close.
I will agree with you that this guy was one of the most underrated heavies in a long time, and I will agree with Lyle that it is probably his level of dedication which caused people to percieve him like that.
He did have one of the most powerful lefts and a ton of heart but he didn't have enough dimension.

As far as what Vitali did to him though.....

that may have been the most underrated ass whooping in the heavweight division in a long time. Corrie Sanders looked like something off of Star Trek at the end of that fight. That beating was brutal. He was really lumped. That fight was stopped about two rounds too late.
