Body Shots- Who's are better Cotto or Hatton

cotto hits harder but i think hatton's are a bit more ferocious and he uses them better by switching from body to head. i would say hatton's are better.

I have to admit I enjoy Ricky Hatton's body attack. He can hit you once and then he jumps/sidesteps fast and he can hit you again. It is a very beautiful move. I enjoy fighters who have that tool in their arsenal. Not many people have it. (Hatton has many great tools in his arsenal) Ricky relies on both speed and power it's a combination of both, while Cotto relies more on sheer power. Cotto's are nice too cus he only needs one or two nice shots and he got's that azz.
Thus the power goes to Cotto while the speed and accumilation of combos goes to Ricky.
Ricky will own the Junior Welter Weight Division while Cotto goes on to own the Welter Weight Division. Two great champions

Being a fan of Cotto's...I can honestly say that Hatton takes this one fairly easily.

Hatton's work rate to the body is impeccable & he's more active...but in the end...I think that Cotto is the heavier handed of the two.

oh really... because i assume you have been hit by both and they have fought the same fighters
exactly...
imo i sway towards hatton... cotto probably posses the power but hatton is more frequent and his punches are alot more snappy then mgiuels.. miguel's punches seem blunt in a way.. but none the less both fighters are the nuts going to the body..

Cotto's body shots are far more devastating than Hatton's. Cotto does'nt have to hit u as much to the body to own u, just a few is all it takes.
