I do watch NASCAR occasionally but comparing the two is totally wrong....I mean in that case when was the last time a driver climbed into the stands and tried to beat someone up for throwing something at him? BOOM!!! Shot a hole in that theory!

Well the Globetrotters don't ALWAYS play the Generals...they do a lot of the time but they'll play vs NCAA teams and so on.

As for AND1 being "real" it's like comparing WWE to some "Hardcore wrasslin" it's still fake to an extent...like those guys play defense.

That's part of my whole argument DEFENSE is an important part of the game and the greatest players of all time still played defense, ie one MICHAEL JORDAN who was defensive player of the year...NO ONE from AND1 ever plays defense and the technical skills, ie passing, running plays and all are being killed off by the idea that showboating is good for the game. A little showboating is ok, it adds flavor but like any spice if you have too much it over powers the original flavor of the game

I think And1 has their element but in an environment where you can get away with some things like carrying. What the globetrotters do(with the exception of confetti etc) Can be done in an organized game so in a way thats better.
