I assume they are in undercover cars? I don't understand how they get you to pull over. If I see an elf driving a cop car I'm thinking loony bin escapee. Even with an undercover car a light would have to be turned on to signal you to pull over. Having an elf pulling up along side you and point you to the shoulder of the road would be traumatic.

The whole concept stinks of Reno 911. Good show, btw.
