IMO for Floyd to be rememberd the way HE wants to be remembered he needs to fight the winner of Cotto vs Margarito and if possible Winky...if he does retire after the DLH fight...sorry to say but IMO, he will be forgotten quite fast. It is your opinion...& actually a won that holds some water.

The thing is...I've been a fan of Floyd since...hell...I don't know when...forever it seems...anywho...I don't think that there are as many unanswered questions as most of his critics pose.

Oscar still has a bit left & a win over him would mean quite a bit in the grand scheme of things regarding Floyd's career.

I do agree that once he's gone...he'll be forgotten or written off if he does not face Cotto or Hatton...but not Margarito or Winky.

Big fan of Winky too...& he's just too far out of reach as far as weight goes...same goes for Oscar too.

Personally I think that Floyd is fighting far beyond his weight at 154...even if he were to outbox Oscar...I'll still feel that way.

140 is where Floyd belongs, IWO.

Again...good post & some valid arguements.
