Kessler is nothing special, and he did duck Lacy. I would like to see Manfredo in there with Kessler, who really hasn't fought anybody that wasn't inexperienced or shot. Kessler is so not world class. I don't know why he has everybody duped. Notice Kessler really didn't call Joe C out until he was signed with Manfredo? Manfredo would put a good azz whipping on Kessler, and then he'd STFU. PS- Manfredo is gonna give Joe C a good fight too. He's fighting at his natural weight now, and Freddie Roach is a friggin genius.

To be honest with you bro, as a Calzaghe fan, I reckon that if beating Manfredo give Warren and Calzaghe the key to American PPv against Jermain Taylor, then they won't be too worried about the brits. At the end of the day, Warren is after the money and Calzaghe is after the glory and adulation of the biggest boxing fanbase in the world, which undobtedly is the USA.

It seems like you haven't seen any of his fights, nor his record list, because then you wouldn't say so.
Of the last 9 fights Kessler has had, 6 was against former or defending champions, and he knocked out 4 of these! So..... come on, get real!

If you compare Mikkel kessler and Joe Calzaghe's record lists, you might see why. Kessler has made 18 genuine knock outs in his career, whereas Calzaghe has only 3, the latest way back in march 1997. And that was even before Kessler started his proffessional career!
And there is more than punching power in kesslers favour.

You're not correctly informed about this. Kesslers manager, Mogens Palle made an offer for a fight months before the Bika fight, but Warren never answered to this. In mid november 2006, Palle even made an offer of 2 million pounds for a fight, but Calzaghe declined by saying that 'Kessler is not interesting enough as a boxer'. Bull***t!
The thruth is that Calzaghe knows that this fight is a great danger to him, and therefore he is chickening out.
Are we going to wait another 9 years before he has the next significant fight? Actually there has only been two: Chris Eubank in 1997 and Jeff Lacy in 2006.
And I don't think there will ever be a Kessler/Calzaghe fight. Kessler wont wait that long

For the latest fight Kessler got only 200,000 pounds which is peanuts compared to the one million pounds Beyer got. But it had to be that way in order to make Beyer take the fight.
Bear in mind that Denmark is a small country and therefore the small gate at the beyer fight. Furthermore the fight was shown at the german ARD channel which most danes can watch for free.

I think the largest gate and purse was in Sidney when he boxed Mundine. I dont know the numbers though.

i know your manfredo fan but please stop now i think ur your going ott why do u think manfredo would beat kessler who has he beat for you to say that not long ago he was outpointed twice by mora and lost to a club fighter and yes i know ur going say he has improved alot since then but im just not seeing it much mate no disrespect to you or manfredo thats just the way i feel

Lacy DID "call out" Kessler (to put pressure on Calzaghe most likely).
But when Kessler responded with an actual offer for a fight either in the US or Denmark, Lacy Immediately lost interest.
Lacy claimed that was because Kessler demanded too much. But he neglected to mention that Kessler OFFERED just as much if Lacy would travel.

So can we please lay to rest this myth that Lacy was absolutely willing to fight "anyone anywhere". I know it sounded so cool - But in reality Lacy wasn't really different from so many other fighters - Except at the time the US media loved him and would always portray him in the best possible light.
