Morales, as great as he was and even with the heart he has, he hasnt quite been himself for a few fights now. Using hindsight, it seems the result of the last Pac fight was the logical conclusion considering Erik's previous couple of performances. I thought Morales might have been able to spring up some kind of surprise considering his heart but I was very wrong.

Contrary to Morales, Barrera is on a winning streak and has continued to hone his boxing skills. Its very hard to envision Barrera swinging for the fences as early as the 2nd round. I truly admire Morales and am a huge fan, but its apparent that his skills and physical strength and stamina have diminished. Barrera is still able to go 12 and go at the pace that he himself chooses to set. Pac would not be able to dictate what he wants so easily. Larios went 12 with Pac not so long ago, Pac is not yet the superman who fells everyone in his path.

Obviously, Pacs stock is sky high after the Morales beating...but the victory, though it represents a great deal about the division. it doesnt mean everything. He beat a great warrior, but a great warrior, clearly on the slide....

A second Barrera fight is great for boxing, and can only raise the sports stakes higher. Should be a classic...
Yeah Larios met this apprently " new and improved " version of Manny and he went 12 and rocked Manny along the way . And who is Larios ? A washed up superbantam who cant punch and was given no hope . What was Morales ? Another washed up ex superbantam who hasnt won for a while and killed himslef to make the weight . Barrera is leagues apart from these two . Pacs not been in with a live opponent for a while and when he finally does meet someone with a pulse he'll be in for a shock
