for all i know, barreras best weapon is his jab
and right know... pac can counter jabs at any angles
and if he thinks he can shrug off pacs attack and combos
just because he is wise and smart.. then he may not be that smart

His best weapon against Pacquiao is his defence. His best punch is his left to the body. I think for barrera to win he has to rush him, pacquiao's punches are long, Barrera needs to get inside, he'll need workrate and smart countering to do this.

Dude, I seriously don't think Barrera's best chance is to go for a KO, he's way too good to take risks like that. I've backed him for years and watched his progression. He's not really an outside fighter, even though his jab is terrific. He's a counter puncher, and Pacquiao's not an inside fighter, thats why Barrera's best chance is to get as close to him as possible, back Manny up, but be smart how he does it, and work on the inside. Pac-man's biggest punch is his long straight left, most effective when the guy is backing up, he's a long puncher, he's not a great hooker, unlike Barrera, his hooks are brilliant, so he needs to keep it where he is most effective, inside.

Barrera would indeed be a fool to look to win by KO. It seemed that was the plan of Morales and that was plain kamikaze. No way Barrera goes swinging from the 2nd onwards. It seems to me that too much is being judged on the last Morales fight. Remember Larios went 12 only a few months earlier and Larios is no MAB...
