What happened in the amateurs doesn't necessarily bare any significant resemblence to what may happen in the pros. Its a completely different system and some fighters benefit from this system, others don't. Simple as.

Yep,my point EXACTLY,CC. People are saing Hatton should KO him etc etc Urango is a bum but that;s against BOXER/MOVERS. Is Hatton a mover? Hell no! Ergo,he'll play to Urango's possibly few strenghts allowing him to land the bombs etc. Hatton should win but if Urango has some power,he'll land on Hatton. People keep forgetting that.....

As for Urango beating Cotto twice, first I have heard of it but Cotto was also beaten by Torres,Abdullaev and Pinto twice if I remember correctly so I would not read too much into that.
The thing that you girls are both missing is that Urango hasn't fought anyone that presses the way that Hatton does. Urango's gonna slide into buckling mode like a piece of worn letter once Hatton turns the heat on.

    Face it...the bwoy's fwocked.

Bet you 10 CC's that Urango is still there after the 6th (not that you really need them but...)

That's a tuffy...but I honestly think that Urango is taylor made for Hatton & round about the 8th or 9th round...he'll stop him.

I hate to make this comparison...but I relate Urango to Maussa...not in style...but in ring presence.

I know that that sounds confusing...but I just don't see Urango as a world class fighter. Maussa had an edge on Hatton but only in the fact that he was very awkward & confusing for Hatton. Urango has none of this. He's a stand up, head first, unproven prospect that's headed for disappointment.

Another big factor here is that Urango has only gone 12 rounds 2 times & he looked horrible in both of those fights.

If Urango's power goes ass out on him...look for Hatton to press him (yep...me favorite slap!) like a pair of cotton trousers. Hatton's power & ability to just come on & keep on comin for the duration will ruin Urango.

    Easy win for Hatton.

**But I'd laugh me on ass off if I were wriz-ong!

Means nothing, as it's been pointed out Cotto got beat by a handfull of guys whom hes beaten now as a pro.....

The Am's. is nothing like going pro.... Those 2 things IMO are worlds apart....

I wish I could comment but I cant find any footage of the guy (Urango). I take it you have seen some of hattons pre-Kostya fights? He really can box well if he needs to and I am hoping he does so for 4 rounds and then blows Urango away in the 5th or 6th.

Mohamad Abdulaev beat Cotto as an amateur and look what happened to him after they fought in the pros.

Truemhe hasn't faced anyone like Hatton but that does not necessarily mean he'll buckle under the pressure. Physically,he seems like he is ready for a war and if he has the power to hurt Hatton, who knows>? Or if he an take Hatton's best? Hatton should, don't get me wrong and if he does not,it'll be SHOCKING but I just don't think it'll be as easy as you guys are making out. HOWEVER,I have only seen 3 Urango fights so I could be way off,I'm about to watch another now!
