I wouldn't say he is ducked though, he has certainly had more than enough shots at the big time and has earned respect. You are totally corect though,he makes a winner look like a loser, look at Chico's face after the first fight, and I still maintain that he beat PBF the first time.

As to your other point, this may sound silly but I don't think he will be a massive force at 140. Why? Ok,so at the weight in for the Corrales fight(second one I think),he was super super drained and looked like he was at death's door and he was actually at 139.5?!! Meaning that even making 140 will be a struggle for him. I actually think he would do better to move to 147 but then again,he would not be as much of threat there. Obviously I could be wrong and he may easily make 140 and if he is able to do so,apart from Hatton,I don't think anyone could beat him.

But I am going on record and saying this,Ricky Hatton will beat Castillo at 140. I'm super confident about this and will take on any bets from any of my fellow forum members. Why? Simple,as great a warrior JLC is,age will surely catch up to him,his face is getting cut up more and more and Hatton will be relentless in attacking his body. Hatton is younger, may be stronger, more relentless, and is a beast at 140. JLC is 31,surely all the wars will catch up to him somwhere?! Either way,it's going to be a war!!
I'll take you up on your bet. Anything you want. Castillo ain't hard to find. He comes right at you. Hatton has never faced a fighter whose style is as aggressive as Castillo's (and no Tszyu's style is nothing like Castillo's). I don't see Hatton as being stronger than Castillo. And while Hatton has a good body attack, I don't think it will bother Castillo. In case you forgot, Castillo is Mexican. He's been hit to the body his whole career. It'll be nothing new. If anything I'm more curious to see how Hatton will react to somebody attacking his body. Nobody ever has. And Castillo does possess a fine body attack of his own.
Excellent points bro but no way has JLC been attacked to the body like Hatton will attack him there,no way and plus I look at JLC age,the weight issue, and I see a Hatton win. Hatton's pressure is of a different type to JLC,he'll rough you up,use his elbows, his head etc etc. You make a valid point though,no one will have attacked Hatton's body like JLC so it'll be interesting to see the outcome of that.

Don't get me wrong,I WANT JLC to win simply because I am a bigger fan of his than of Hatton's but I just see the factors in Hatton's favour. What would you like to bet bro? Your call. CC's? Sigs?

I like Castillo and its a treat to see him back in the ring but im just concerned that his age and weight increase is the sign that he's slipping.

Im thinking that Cas at 140 will be slightly diluted.... Slightly.

I kind of agree with the demiser on this one, even though I have been taking a liking to HAtton as of late, I feel JLC is one of the baddest Muthas of the last 8 years in our sport, I think he is underrated and will lock horns with Hatton to the likes he has never seen or experienced... I gotta give JLC the slight edge as of the moment...I am going to wait to see how he does on the 20th..I have a sneaky suspicion that he will be like Cotto in the fact that moving up in weight will have him fighting stronger and will bring out an even fiercer beast than we have seen in him....

I can see what you mean there, you make a good point,he may very well improve with the weight but I just don't think it will be as dramatic as Cotto's. Like I said though,I'll be happy if Castilloo wins but in Hatton,I see a younger, faster, rougher and overall more agressive fighter. Castillo's age will be a factor sooner or later. True again,we will have to see on the 20th,I can't wait and you are correct,I too believe JLC is vastly under rated.

I am, He was a force at 135 and with talented boxers leaving the 140 division. It's up to him and Ricky to slug it out.
