But Clements scored it 10-7 instead of 10-6 as the other two judges did. Judge John Stewart called the bout 115-110 for Pacquiao. Guy Jutras had it 115-110 for Marquez. Clements scored the fight 113-113, making it a draw, but Pacquiao would have won had he scored the first round 10-6.
I know what are you are talking about ,yeah it is called poetic justice. When jmm got knocked down 3times he got up and to dominate the rest of the fight.
In all fairness ice is right..
The scoring technically should and could have been a 10-6 round
but 9 out of 10 judges wont score more then a 10-7 round because it puts a fighter too far behind..
so of course it was scored the way it was because by looking at the fight you would never have thought the fight would go the full 12 rounds and that jmm would make a very nice come back..
so it was a case of circumstance rather then a robbery..
In fairness.. while jmm gets his credit .. he still has no claim to victory
Manny has the claim to the draw if not the arguable victory and juan only can claim on the draw..
