A lot of times Vazquez is too inactive, he needs to have his feet set, and be in position to punch. I think he has improved but watching the second Larios fight (if you havent' seen it its worth watching) and the first 6 rounds of the Gonzalez fight he can be kept at range and kept inactive looking for one punch. And I think Marquez could do it better, he could hurt Vazquez too.

But the late rounds could be real interesting, that's really Vazquez's time. And Marquez's chin might have been underrated for a while, but its not rock solid. But I'd favor Marquez still
I've seen that Larios fight and I see what you mean but Rafa Marquez doesn't use his jab as much as Larios did in that fight and it was just the long reach of Gonzalez and Larios which made it hard for Isreal. They both gave movement too and although it was only slight,I guess it meant Isreal could not sit down on his shots properly. I don't think these problems apply with Marquez who will be there in front of him. I agree though,Isreal usually comes on in the second half of fights. Excellent points though! Do you watch the same fight repeatedly to pick up on these things or just notice it?

I think Vazquez inactivity could be his donwfall,I can see him waiting on Rafa Marquez, and getting hurt i the process.

I have never seen any of Rafa Marquez losses and don't hear them mentioned much, did he get KTFO?

I could see Marquez maybe moving a little bit with Vazquez. Not running but circling a little.

I agree about the inactivity, sometimes Israel just takes too long too get going, that's just something I've noticed in most of the fights I've seen of him. He's a pressure fighter, but not really a volume puncher.

I have no idea about Marquez's losses except they were all three stoppages. Just going by boxrec, one was his pro debut, but for some reason he was fighting a guy that was like 39-14, not exactly a gimme for your debut. That was listed as a KO. Like his thirteenth or fourteenth fight he got TKO'd in three by a 7-3 guy, and then a bit later got KO'd in two by Genaro Garcia who's actually a pretty good fighter still, just lost a decision to Hasagawa for the bantamweight title. But I think its pretty clear he's improved but people have questioned his chin a bit cause of that. But its hard to know what kind of stoppages those were, two were listed as KO's but I didn't see them.
