I was there when Soto beat Juarez to first make a name for himself. I never heard of the guy and was straight pissed when he had to replace the injured Injun Chi. Instead Soto used his good reach and solid chin to make one of the better upsets of 2005.

To me Soto's kind of like the new Zahir Raheem of a few years ago. We know he's good and while it'll be hard for him to get a big fight people aren't lining up to fight him. He's been 3 for 3 with knockouts against winning record opponents since then and is due for people to take notice.

If they were to fight he would definately be competive. I think the drama would be somewhere between Barerra Juarez 1 and 2. MAB is mapping out his last few fights and might not have time for such a dangerous assignment. If he passes on it, keep your eye on Soto to make noise in 2007.
