why vargas vs mayorga would be brilliant

if this fight happened, it would be one of the best fights of the year imo. they may be past their peaks but they each are extremely exciting fighters, im sure whatever happened it would be a classic fight, i just cant see it being boring at all!
i truely hope it does happen and one of these two gets a last shot at the title. They deserve it for the entertainment they have given the sport,

i for one would love to see mayorga vs miranda, anyone else agree? that would be a mother of all slugfests

I got meself an itching feeling that you'd be sorely disappointed as that match wouldn't go more than 2-3 rounds.

Absolutely not.. Mayorga would be KOEd easily..

Agreed. Mayorga might have had a granite chin at welterweight but that chin is as soft as talcum at junior middle and middle. His power disappears past welter also. It would be a worse mismatch against Miranda than his last 2 KO losses.

I think Vargas-Mayorga will be like Gatti-Ward in the grand scheme of things it won't mean anything to their divisions or top 10 lists or anything but it'll be a good tough fight and will win over more fans for boxing.

I think they should go at it and if it's close have a rematch and maybe involve Forrest and Quartey as well!
