I think in the grand scheme of things Taylor was the worst affected. I know Hagler went a little nuts and did some dodgy films to help heal himself (he was great as the drill Srgnt in An Officer and a gentleman). Worst bit of advice from trainer: Rahman's corner (Adrian Davis, i think) just before going out for the 4th round against Lewis in the rematch - "everytime he come at you just keep sticking your arms out like that (ramrod straight), he can't do nuthin, he can't get over the top of them"

All fight long Rahman was sticking his arms out like a novice so Lewis simply came from the side and knocked him clean out
