To me Soto's kind of like the new Zahir Raheem of a few years ago. We know he's good and while it'll be hard for him to get a big fight people aren't lining up to fight him. He's been 3 for 3 with knockouts against winning record opponents since then and is due for people to take notice.

If they were to fight he would definately be competive. I think the drama would be somewhere between Barerra Juarez 1 and 2. MAB is mapping out his last few fights and might not have time for such a dangerous assignment. If he passes on it, keep your eye on Soto to make noise in 2007.
Excellent post and sums up Soto for me too,CC brother. I saw him for the first time against Rocky too and I was MASSIVELY impressed,so saw some more fights and became a fan,a great fighter.

Thats far more than enough of a bang to go out on.
True, good point,CC,MAB does not really have time for this fight UNLESS,the Pac fight does not come off and MAB decides not to take the fight against JMM.Remember,I'm sure MAB turned down a fight with JM a few years back...after the Naz fight I think?
