You misinterpreted that Wack,I just meant I credit him for the Chavez win, Cotto(unbeaten and one of the up coming big stars of the game),Hatton(champ at 140,would come to 147 and unbeaten and Margarito(RING/ESPN number 2 WW and unbeaten at the weight for 7 or 8 years) would look awesome on his resume and no way would it go on and on after that,if he won those,I don't think anyone on this forum could say anthing?! Whereas I hardly think there was a clamour to see him beat Corley,Mitchell,these types of guys.

If he does decide to retire after fighting Oscar,it is a cop out but I don't think he will,I think there will be a rematch with Oscar.

Angel Manfredy was a good fighter indeed...yes he did fall to the competition...but many have & many do & many will. The thing about Manfedy is that he was a solid fighter who stalled a bit in the start of his career. He defeated Gatti when Gatti was a somebody & put up one hell of a showing there...stopped him or his corner did.

After Mayweather...Manfre dy would go on to have his a** handed to him by other championship fighters like Johnston, Corrales, & a few other namers.

Agreed. Juuko was not a world beater...he was indeed a tuff fighter...but the world is full of A's & B's & C's & D's...Floyd is now on the 4th defense of his Super Feather title & he's still fighting game opposition...it's just previous tense...something that everyone keeps over looking.

Here's what get's me with this...it's a good win for Floyd...but he got floored? Is that a bad thing? Champions get dropped all the time & get up to win the match...that's what makes them champions. Now...my problem is this...have you even seen the fight? I don't think you have...because it was Floyd's glove...not his a**, knees, or chest that touch the canvas...so he didn't get floored. Having a knockdown scored by a glove touching the mat does not make one floored.

Hernandez would go on to win the IBF title & fight in some of the most spirited fights in & around his weight class. Falling short to Morales, Chavez, & Kelley.

Gatti was a B class fighter...but he had made his comeback & he was the biggest PPV draw out there that Floyd could get & whether you as a fan or hater want to admit/believe it or not...boxing is about making money & the networks aren't going to stand behind a fighter that doesn't make them money. Floyd didn't want Gatti in the start of the matchmaking...but out came the money & the promises & Floyd dispatched him where others did not.

Just because all these fights were not made...it's not Mayweather's fault that the fights weren't all made.

Careful deduction will show most that a lot of this stems from the fans, Arum's bitterness, & a lot of would be contenders pulling out here & there.

#1: Margarito wasn't a factor until Floyd left Arum...think back to when that was & you'll see that truth.

#2: Cotto...he already said he wasn't ready...then he was. When he was...that changed over the course of an 8 round blowout & youv'e never heard peep from him again due to the fact that Cotto watched ringside as Floyd systematically humiliated Miquel's sparring partner Bruseles...& that was that.

#3: Hatton by his own admission...wasn't ready...then he was...then he wasn't...then came Collazo & now he's back @ 140lbs...

But you'll never take any of that into consideration because it's easier for you all to just throw it off on Floyd...even when you read interviews of fighters saying that they aint ready.
