The WORST thing about the Rocky Series is in Rocky II when they change the rules of boxing. At the very end, Rocky knocks Creed down, but slips after he throws the haymaker, and for some reason, Rocky must also beat Creeds count to win.

I read that that was going to be the case in Rocky Balboa. Presumably they thought that was far fetched and best just to ignore the issue

Lyle Im sure Drago was an exibition only for Apollo, Rocky fought him in a non title fight.
Thanks for clearing that up but I thought being a commie as Drago was he couldn't fight for money Hence guys like Savon and Stevenson never went pro

I also wonder what happened to Ivan Drago and Clubber Lang I mean losing to Rocky can't be that bad....Clubber also whipped his a** in the first fight....why no rubber match?

Also where does Tommy Gunn fall in the history of the sport, he was supposed to be Rocky Jr.....and what the hell has Mason Dixon done to deserve such honor as greatest of all-time Could he beat Apollo Creed Lang or Drago?

Well creed would out point Dixon...His piston jab would be the factor...

IMO Dixon would outbox the Russian as long as he did not get caught....Lang would just destroy Dixon...To strong to fast!!!

Dixon is not an all time great but one of the best of this era....

Gunn fights here and there...but since getting in trouble after fighting in the street they took his title away...He gained about 75lbs during his suspension and for some reason or another can't get back into shape....

Spider Rico worked with him for a while but Gunn didn't want to listen and he and Rico did not see eye to eye on a lot of things so that ended that...

so tommy gun being train by spider rico ? WTF did they state this in rocky 6 or something , because that would explain something to me since i ha vnt seen it .

spider rico is the bum club fighter rocky fights in the orginal movie right?

Apollo Creed was the greatest and Rocky only got to him when he was out of his prime and unmotivated to continue boxing . He could have cruised the last round of the Rocky rematch if they fought 100 times Apollo would win 99.

Tommy Gunn probably could beat anyone in the division and i dont understand how Rocky more brain damaged in 5 they wanted Morrison to beat him to prove he was good. Apparently a glass chin champion doesnt impress them with Gunn beating but a brain dead ex champ who will never reach his prime with brain damage wows them. So basically they said alright you just knocked out Lennox Lewis but that doesn't prove anything until you take out Holyfield. Thats the media

I stopped analysing there because I didnt want to see Rocky beat The Master of the Universe himself

But my boo apollo beats them all(in his prime)
