It is very RARE to have the title taken away. Its even more rare since people have done a LOT worse then Hamed and still have their "honours"

Yes Naz may be an arrogant prick. But he didn't deserve to have his honour stripped. This is no little thing.

Naz may be a prick but this is very wrong.

Here's an article from fightnews about it

Queen strips Hamed! www.fightnews.com
Naz loses MBE in controversial move
The Queen of England has ordered that former featherweight champion Prince Naseem Hamed be stripped of his MBE after serving a jail term for dangerous driving. Hamed's name is now erased from the Order of the British Empire. The MBE is one of several awards in the British honors system where people are publicly recognized for their bravery, achievement or service to the UK. To have one's title taken away is very rare and the fact that there are others who retained their "honours" after serving jail sentences seems extremely unfair to Naz, who last fought in 2002 but has never officially retired.

I agree.
So what your saying is even the Queen dislikes Naz?
Or I don't get what your trying say....
I mean if others have kepted their honors after serving time or what not, I guess it boils down to what they did or what not.
Fact of the matter is the honours are gone and thats it.
Do you really think he cares?
I think not.
He just had his name removed from the Order of the British Empire founded by King George V, I think he cares.
Well... Sometimes people do things without thinking and guess what that means?
That they don't care.
If he did care, He would have NOT fled the scene, he would have not been doing 90 mph on the wrong side of the road.

I'm not perfect but I do know what the consequences could be for doing shit! thats wrong. I think having the honour taken away is the SMALLEST price he could pay considering he could have killed the victims.
I agree that running into someone and fleeing the scene is wrong.

I just want to make note that people have done a lot worse then he did and spent jail time for them as well and didn't get their honours taken. It's very very very very very very rare! That's what I'm saying is wrong. I just don't like inconsistancy. It's probably the same reason I dont like the hbo commentators. But I just don't think its fair to take HIS honors when people have done more and kept their honours. Do you see what point I'm trying to make cmm?

I'm not saying that what he did he didn't deserve punishment. I'm saying that the taking of his honours is a HUUUUUUGE thing. And even though he is a cunt its not fair to him especially given whose kept their honors for doing worse then Hamed did. Thats what I'm trying to say. I don't think its just. Probably a way of evening things for his shortened jail time, but two wrongs don't make a right. Not to me. I'm just trying to say that point thats all.
I am not educated as to who have honors and who don't,

I want to know who has done worse and still have their honorary title?

To me drinking and driving , seriously injuring someone, then fleeing the scene instead of rendering aid , is a sign of poor character, and a sign of someone who does not deserve an honorary title. I think its a good fair thing to do. !
