I just re-watched this. This is exactly round-for-round how I scored the fight. With most close fights, there are multiple rounds that could go either way, but I thought in this fights the rounds were easy to score. Quartey clearly won the seven rounds that I gave to him, and De La Hoya clearly won 5 rounds, including the 10-8 final round. I thought Quartey clearly deserved a close victory.Originally Posted by BIG H
The two judges who gave it to DLH scored it 116-113 and 116-112, which were way too lopsided IMO. A one-point victory for DLH would have been understandable (although incorrect IMO), but a 3 or 4 point margin for DLH is just bad judging.
