I just don't believe that Chi is still marquee material anymore.

Pac within 4.
I'm not sure it's that much of a let down. At the end of the day, In Jin Chi is a world champion and that was more than Larios and look how good that match up was! I know Manny will win this but i think it's a good fight for bigger things. IMO In Jin Chi is a big name and this would be a good fight to see.
I'll grant you that it will be a big event that will be good for the sport, I just don't see it being very competitive. I imagine Chi would have to move up in weight which would definately be a disadvantage. He's a belt holder but he struggled to get it on his home turf against Lopez who 6 months ago was an unknown.

All I'm saying is that it's a letdown in contrast to the many other potential matchups at 130.
But he may be disadvantged with the weight, but this fight is in China so he will have the home fans wont he ? I think it will be a close fight with Manny in control. All i see this fight is like the Larios one, a comfortble fight but competative and this is what Manny needs imo. He will lead onto Barrera, Valero, Guzman etc. I think Manny is in control on 130 and this will just show that.
