Yeah, specially to brake up the action like that, even though Toney was basically putting his face staright down. Peter showed a lot of restraint, you could tell later in the fight that he pulled back from hitting Toney when toney took his bow

Number 1... how the hell is Peter supposed to avoid hitting Toney in the back of the head when Toney repeatedly was doing his "bows"? (As you so well put it).
Also, Peter WAS actually pulling back quite a bit to avoid getting penalized for that. Otherwise, he would've taken Toney out a long time ago.
