wacko3205, actually, he has a very good reputation as a trainer. He is considered more of a teacher than anything else. But that all goes out the window given his lack of values.

I will never buy into him having a good reputation as a trainer...I question anything that anyone says about the man...period...because like you said...his moral ethics blows that to pieces.

Wacks, Pulling the tricks he has comes from a lack of confidence in your coaching ability. Also being an arsehole doesnt help.

I mean he pulled that shit in the Collins fight, then the "black bottle" in the Pryor fight, & now he's the main man for Ibragimov?

Both wasn't that great & he didn't do shit for Tyson...so...what makes everyone think that he was so great...or even still is? He's always been a turd...I just don't get it.
Lol yeh youre absolutely right wacko.. No doubt..
But its not us that ever said he was good.. If anyone needs to know he's crap its the people that keep employing him as a trainer..
Lol they need to wake up.

Not sure eveyone thinks he is so grreat. He has trained a lot of great fighters. But he felt that his skills were not enough so he went beyond the rules to win. Thus he was inducted into Boxing's International Hall of Slime.

But there are a lot of sleezes in this sport, he's a dime a dozen

Not like this one. Look at what he and Resto did to Billy Collins for God sakes. They blinded him and drove him to drink. He then may well have committedd suicide. Lewis is not a dime a dozen; he is a specila breed of slime. IMO. Billy Collins was as nic a kid as you could ever meet and so was his dad. Poor but proud Southern folk who worked hard...and then along comes Lewis and muggs this poor kid. No sympathies from this quarter. BTW, Sulatn canned him and now Briggs is thinking about bringing him in. Briggs must have a "great" PR man!
Maybe not on such a large scale but there are crooked trainers out there in Podunk, USA/PR/DR/Russia/UK and everywhere else and they have probably done the same kind of things Panama has.

Boxing has no shortage of crooks and cheaters

I'd prefer to deal with what I know rather than speculate. There are too many decent trainers out there to do that. IMO As far as I lknow, removing paddinf is an exclusive that belongs to Lewis.

LEWIS'S NAME SHOULD NOT EVEN BE MENTIONED. HE HAS DISGRACED HIMSELF IMO
