Its sad about the knockdown because toney has eaten tremendous punishment and stood still, but, a knockdown is a knockdown flat footed or not. But you bring up a good point that has been mention on a few recent posts. Samuel peter hits behind the head INTENTIONALLY, no ifs ands or buts, he see's it open, and tries to connect there ALOT. however i do believe the outcome would of still been a ud for peter, toney didnt bring his best game that night, and peter took advantage.
Cc for the reply brother..
Yehh theres no dispute on the knockdown which is a shame..
Been 13 years since his last knockdown..Which also was when he was off balance after roy jones had taunted him, he taunts back and got knocked off balance with a left hook...lol
His only real knockdown ..that ive seen anyway was in '91.. So he's not been legitimately knocked down in 18 odd years :P
lol...

I guess i just wanted to let everyone and mostly the doubters on the forum that i really dont think he is shot..I think he was genuinely beat..But he did ok..
I genuinely think..aside from vlad and sam peter there's noone else out there that beats toney..
So theres no need to retire just yet..And he looked in beter shape this fight.. He could look great in a few fights time if he doesnt get discouraged..
Peace
