Not for nothing but I'm starting to lose more and more respect for Hatton with every passing excuse.

Excuse for what? He took a fight at a weight he wasnt comfortable at and won it. Whats the problem with going back down to his natural weight division? Its not like he was having trouble making light welter before he went up - thats just where the money was at the time.

He did have some troubles with weight and he promised Collazo a rematch and didn't deliver. Trust me man, I'm nat a Hatton hater. In fact, I'm one of the few that doesn't think Collazo clearly won that fight. I can see why people say he won but I honestly believe the decision could have gone to either fighter.

He is a light welterweight it's that simple. I admire his balls to fight a welterweight champion at short notice, just leave the guy alone this is old news anyway.

The only aspect I found disapponting was that he twice stated that he would rematch Collazo but did not...if he did not intend on staying at 147,why promise the rematch? Heck Luis was willing to come to England to fight.Hatton is still the man at 140 though, without a doubt imo!

Very fair comment mate. I would love it if Ricky beat Urango and Castillo while Collazo beat Mosley and THEN they had a rematch. Heres hoping....

I'm by no means a Hatton basher and hope I'm wrong about the signals I'm picking up but you Hatton fans can't be getting mad at me. It is what it is. He had one fight in the states whithout the benefit of a hometown ref and it was more than he bargained for. At least it seems that way to me.

    F Hatton.

I mean, he is in the top 3 @ 140, but I wish he wouldn't stoop to this level.

Face it Ricky, you were trying to chase the big money fight with floyd, but realized you can't keep up witht the big boys.

There should definitely be a rematch. Too many unanswered questions IMO.

It's got nothing to do with the ref, Collazo fought like a champion and I respect him for that he gave Ricky a bloody tough fight.

Kel, not having a go I think Rick is the best thing since sliced bread just making a point. If hes going for Mayweather the time should be now, dont let him grow into the weight.
