Mattyhitman is spot on, Ive got both the Hitman books out at moment and one of the books is a diary of the build up to the Collazo fight and in it it states just that, Ricky was supposed to be fighting Lazcano but he pulled out injured and the only fight available was Collazo which he took against the wishes of his trainer Billy Graham.This is stated before the fight with Collazo even took place so I dont see why everyone keeps saying it is an excuse. Whats the point in fighting at a weight that Ricky is not 100% happy with and giving his opponents a chance at welterweight when he can still make the light welterweight and in my opinion dominate any opponent in the division he faces?
