This might be unfair to Floyd though. If Oscar isn't effective, how do you know it's age and ring rust, and not just that Floyd is making him look bad?

This isn't directed at you obviously, but part of my beef with the media's coverage of the Baldomir fight is that a lot of reporters/analysts (such as Steward) were complete hypocrites. Before the fight they kept saying, "Baldomir is tough and strong, he's going to give Mayweather an extremely tough fight and could definitely win it." Then after Floyd pitched a shutout, all the same people (like Steward) said, "Oh well, I wasn't that impressed, Baldomir looked very slow, he didn't have a chance."
I think Floyd may be put in a no-win situation. If he loses, people will say this proves he was overrated. If he wins, people will make excuses for DLH because of his age.
