Although I don't put too much stock in amateur wins over guys cause of the way alot of guys pitty pat their way to victory, Urango is not the pitty pat type so maybe there is at least a little something to it.

amatuers! shamatuers! it means crap. This is a world title fight not a crappy 4x2 min rounder. We will see Urango beaten in the fight i can safely say. I dont think it will be a complete white wash like people are making it out to be but it will be a Hatton win!

Maybe Urango was a harder fighter than Cotto as an amateur but Cotto has made big improvements since then. Not to take anything from Urango but Cotto is the better fighter today without a doubt.

I don't see Urango winning but I see him making it interesting.

Lol already a sign that he's scared...

And for one.. You couldnt beat cotto now... So your living in the past cos you havnt fought anybody of worth just yet.....

And two...Cotto and hatton havnt fought.. So what is he even trying to say...
I fought someone who was in the makings of bieng good once..
Or that he doesnt believe that hatton is as good as cotto...

Come on, give Urango some credit. The guy is an undefeated fighter with a title. I believe Hatton should toast this guy but he's just showing some confidence in himself and he's tired of being treated like he's just holding the title for Hatton. He does have some quality wins on his record.

well yes it says that he can box, and yes cotto is a very good win to have on your amateur record. but muhamed abduliev beat cotto in the amateurs aswell (in the olympics i think) and cotto hammared him when they met as pro's in 05.

It's all relative, being undefeated nowadays and even having an alphabet title are meaningless if you haven't fought anyone worthwhile.

look at PAC no title and has defeats, but he's still on almost everyones top 3 p4p.

And I can't give him credit because Ben Rabah got robbed against him. Urango won rounds 5, 11 and 12 Ben Rabah owned him for the rest.

Nope...but Pinto did...beat him & get knocked out I mean.

Cotto busted Abdulaev up so badly that it was stopped on a TKO...but he didn't knock him out. Abdulaev did beat him though.

The one that got knocked out was Pinto...& Cotto utterly destroyed & ruined that youngin.

I never used to like Hatton but I have warmed to him big time, hes taking worthwhile fights and gives value for money when fighting, hes also done 2 things Maywether couldnt, fight the man at lightwelter then in his first fight at welter he fights a champ.

The person who beats Hatton will have to be special, either very quick or very powerfull, even Floyd is neither of these

Hatton didnt look good in his last fight but if nothing else the way he was coming back the last minute of the fight after being there for the taking impresses me

Collazo went for the kill and had Ricky in big trouble even Tszyu couldnt match but Ricky came storming back

I hope a Hatton Maywether fight comes off because i believe hottons style is just so far away from anything Floyd has faced, Floyd likes to fight at his pace and his fidling brings the pace down but Ricky wont slow down, it may be his downfall but Hatton wont let a thing like taking shots from floyd bother his tempo (Kostyas power didnt)
