I think your being a bit harsh of Collazo there, his resume isn't sparkling but he was coming off two big wins and lots of experience on the US boxing circuit. World-class? perhaps not, but he was fast with his hands, established a nasty southpaw jab, did well in keeping ricky off him and even managed to rock Ricky in the final round. If he only had a bit of knockout power then he'd be a real contender. I think he'll give Mosley a hard night's work too, Collazo is hard to look good against.

Ricky's problem is he's short and stocky. He's got little arms and he's only 5ft6. Up at welterweight your fighting against guys who are like 6ft+, its gonna be harder and harder for Ricky to get inside and work the body at higher weights. He didn't use anything like enough head-movement against Collazo and he was too easy to keep off, he wasn't swarming all over Collazo like he did against Tszyu, Oliveira, Tackie, Stewart, Philips etc. Hattons gotta remember to use angles, move his head, bob n weave, and try at least to throw a few more jabs into the mix. It shouldn't matter too much this fight, Urango only knows how to fight one way and thats attack. Urango doesn't throw jabs. Urango gets up close and loads up on hooks. Hatton will tear him apart, and it should be a really good fight. Against Castillo he may have more trouble coz Castillo mixes it up, varies his work and has a nice jab. He'll be in serious shit against Mayweather coz Floyd is a like a phantom with that jab, and he's so good working off the back foot he could really beat ricky up.

I can't see Ricky beating Mayweather. Cotto is a 50/50 fight. Cotto is a devastating fighter but has he got the heart go through the trenches with ricky? Cotto can be got, we've seen him go down against some weak opposition, and Ricky Hatton fights like a man possessed, so despite all Cotto's strength and offensive skill its still a really tough fight for him. Castillo is also close but I think ricky is younger and stronger so should just take it. I like the idea of a 144lbs contest for these two, it'd be a better fight if they could keep a bit more weight on. He can beat Witter coz Witter just doesn't have the stamina to cope with Ricky for 12 hard rounds, there'll be no time for statue-impressions and little breathers when your in the ring with Ricky Hatton junior! I'd give him a good chance against Margarito, Judah and I think he'd murder Carlos Baldomir too.

He won't remain undefeated, but so what? Was Roberto Duran undefeated? Was Bernard Hopkins undefeated? I predict that Ricky Hatton will be one of the best value for money boxers britain has ever produced.
