But if the fight was a major success do you really think Hatton would have gone to 140 seriously? I feel the 147 has more exciment than the 140 devison a mega fight with Mayweather would be more attractive than a fight with Witter am i wrong ? I feel Hatton may not want to go back to 147 but he is sure doing the wrong thing staying at 140
the fight was a succses he beat a very good fighter in his first fight for a major title at a new weight, he moved back down because his style wouldn't suit fighting margarito, williams or any the other big 147 guy's and inevitibly thats what would have happened if he stayed there. why would a fighter fight at the weight above his natural it doesn't make sense, the only way he would go back up would be for a fight with cotto or gayweather who i think will both lose there big fights comming up against oscar and margarito respectivly.
Bro when that much money is on the line do you think somebody will care about how different the stlye is? I think that a fight with a big 147 will bring so much exciment etc. Compared with a crummy fight at 140, which in the long run doesnt do Hattons unbeaten record justice. I say this time and time again i would prefer to see Hatton fight a big name and take a risk at 147, then to see him fight at 140 were the risks arent as big and the names dont look too good on his record.
