Cooney, in my estimation, had the better chin of the two. After his devastating loss to Holmes, he spiraled into a world of drug/alcohol abuse. Even in his post-holmes state, Foreman commented that he had to stop him because he didn't think he could take another punch from Cooney.
However, I think that Klit is the better technician in the ring, and under Manny, I don't see how he would lose.
So I have mixed feelings about this match-up: Cooney after the Lyle fight...I'd say an early KO
Post-Holmes Cooney would have gotten KTFO.
