Hatton at 154 ? isnt that bit to far out of his depth? the big names imo are at 147 there is no need for him going that far up. so is this just a thoery or has he acctually said those words ?
He'd face Oscar, Mayweather, Mosley or Cotto regardless of weight class. They are his own words.
Intresting so he doesnt have any needs to stay at 140 then ? what i dont understand know is why the F*** is he fighting Urango then ?
What you don't seem to understand in most of your posts Tam , is these superfights are becoming increasingly difficult to make. He had a 3 fight deal with HBO that should enable his 3rd fight to be a superfight with Castillo. HBO most probably advise him against fighting guys like Cotto or Mayweather. That being said, fights against Cotto and Mayweather are probably extremely hard to make anyway. I don't see how staying at 140 and beatin Castillo, Corrales, Witter and D-hop is a lame way out. He already has a massive win under his belt. Wins over them 4 guys would add up to a superb legacy. He only wants between 4 and 6 fights including the Urango one. He wants to get out by the time he's 30-31. I don't think Hatton is particularly on Mayweather's radar to be honest.
Well who would you prefer him to fight? Castillo, Corralles, Witter and D-hope or mayweather,Cotto,Margarito and Williams. I know was legeacys go i would pick the guys at 147. I think i just see it in a different light because being honest i only see Corralles and Castillo being the big names at 140. If he has 4-6 fight maybe he should concentrate of fighting the 2 big names at 140 and then move up for his last four fights at 147 and get more belts.
Coralles and Castillo are bigger names (aswell as bigger marquee names/ticket sellers) than Williams or Tony surely?

Williams is a good prospect and I have yet to buy into they hype surrounding Margorito.

Cotto is an altogether different story but he is on record as saying he will step up to fight Cotto at Welter. He has to get past Urango and Castillo first though so it is all ifs and buts

As a Hatton fan I would love to see him take some fights at Welter, love it but he dominates everybody at 140 so why move? Didn't do Kostya Tszyus legacy any harm did it?
