Let me put it to you like this...& this is from my point of view:

Valuev has improved leaps & bounds from what he was just 10 or 15 fights ago. Really...he has. His detractor's refuse to acknowledge it...but the signs are there.

If he were to hammer Wlad out or win a decision...you would never hear the end of how shitty Wlad was, how fixed the fight was, or whatever...anything & everything but respect would go out to Valuev.

I like the guy. He brings a lot of interest back to the sport...win, lose, or draw. That being said...I aint sold on him.

If he were to beat Maskaev, Peter, or Wlad...then I'd have to cash in me chips...I'd be sold.
I owe you a in 24 cause of that whole Karma deal ... We do agree on that I can tell you that much, I think its the same ol story once you have made up your mind to dislike or hate a certain fighter THATS IT!!! even at the expense of belittling and discrediting one of your favorite fighters peformance just to spite the other fighter you dont like...

I think Big Nik is good for the sport for the reasons you mentioned..... I would like to see him step up in comp soon I think he has improved and anyone who thinks he is a big hairy punching bag with a good promoter, is sadly mistaken.. Niks got all the potential to rule that division.... We'll see how he does against McCline this weekend, he could get sparked and this convo will be irrelevant
