neither one of these guys are very good, and the winner of this fight is gonna be nothing more than a paycheck for paul williams
I think you're seriously underestimating both fighters.
Anyway..... Margarito's a tough S.O.B., but has slow hands. So I say Cotto takes him out in 7.
Margarito makes up for the slow hands with the volume and placement of his punches.
True enough. I've seen some of his fights and he does throw a lot of accurate punches. But his slow hand speed was very evident in his last fight, where he looked to be in trouble against a faster, hard-punching opponent.
I agree,he looked AWFUL in his last fight, but he was carrying a wrist and ankle injury so his punches lacked snap and he could not sit on them properly.6 Heads and Martinez had fast hands too,and although they are NOWHERE near Cotto's level, the fights do show how Margarito can negate the speed whereas Miguel is going to find Tony's activity and awkward angles diffcult.

I think Tony brings more challenges for Cotto to negate than Cotto does for Tony.
