    Default JL Castillo

This may have been talked about in the round-by-round...

Why was Castillo able to stop fighting and walk toward the ref at his discretion? I think twice, maybe three times, he stopped fighting and called the ref over to hear a complaint. It was ridiculous.

Was that the ref or his personal trainer?

huge mistake by his opponent not to jump on Castillo when he did that. I was thinking to myself, jump on his ass now ! and the Castillio low blows were pretty bad. everyone thinks, o well they were just on the hip, let me tell you, one of the worst places to get hit is on the hip ! very debilitating and painful

one of my main problems with some fighters . .. is when they get into deep waters and they are not able to have their way, they start the complaining and the low blows.. Miguel Angel Gonzalez , JCC, and JLC, to name a few.

Castillo llooked very lethargic for much of the fight, and he was very lucky to get a win even the way things wen't... Let alone if Njoudgo had managed to keep up his output like Manny Steward kept saying, Castillo had no answer for his punches... Im thinking maybe he's just a bit shopworn now... The guy's had so many fights, I could understand if he didn't take this one as seriously as he should have but you have to question whether so many fights and making weight have also taken their toll.. JLC just looked really average in there and even when he was down a couple big rounds(imo) he never really kicked it into that high gear, it was more that Ngoudjos output dropped. I hate to say it, but Im starting to think Hatton vs CAstillo may not be anythin near the FOTY people are hoping, what with how each looked last night, you put those two in the ring... And you have one UGLY fight. Lets hope they can both bring their best and prove me wrong.

Castillo went 12 rounds last night. After being out for a year that is a good thing. He'll benefit more from that than he would from a 2nd round knock out. Whoever think Hatton will make easy work of him, it's all wishful thinking. Castillo showed last night that body attack was still there. And we all saw how much Hatton liked taking those body shots last night.

well the fuys cup was really high but castillo did throw one solid low blow... i think it was a really close fight and the other guy pulled it off but i knew if it was close they would give ti to castillo.... remember delahoya-sturm?
