Truth is Ricky is past his prime ! while he is not all that old at 28, he is in boxing terms, he fights rough hard fights , and has bad habits out of the ring. up and down is whole career making weight.. as a youngster you can get away with it, but over the years it adds up ! Ricky needs to make lifestyle adjustments to accommodate his changing body and mind ! losing 40 F****** pounds in 3 months is taxing to body and the stamina .. James Toney did that for the Jones fight.. Tarver did that for the Hopkins fight… it leaves you empty .. 7 to 10 lb over your fighting weight is expectable walk around weight for a fighter at this level.

Exactly, it has to catch up with you eventually.
I hope he sits up and takes notice now instead of trying to laugh it of with all his Fatton T-Shirts he gets made up for him to show to the press. He might always get down to 140lb no matter what but at this stage in his career I think it is clear that he is leaving way too much of himself in the gym getting there.
He has the rest of his life to live the good life
